I have recently bought a factory roll bar from a Ramcharger Prospector with a solid roof or non-removable. I had never seen a factory roll bar in one of these before. I was skeptical until I saw the backing plates and attachment bolts. Has anyone else seen these before? It mounts in approximately the same location as the older removable top versions. This one however does not have the attachment bolts to the bedside like the older ones have. Only 2 front floor feet and 2 wheel well hump feet. This one un-bolts in more places of the bar to bar connection as well. Several 1985-6 versions in San Diego if parts are needed. |

Yes, that's the correct roll bar for the '81-'92 Fix top RamCharger. The '81-'92 RB does not use the side mount brackets. The reason for the five piece take-a-part design is to be able to get into the RamCharger because the fixed top. The early '74-'80 with the one piece RB had to be installed while the removable top was off. |
