I tried to get an answer from a couple of sites and I am hoping someone here can help me. I am in the process of trying to get pictures of this 76 Trailduster that I went to see a week ago but the guy has been gone and I dont mess with peoples stuff not even to take pics. Anywho, this TD has some weird but cool fender flares that look to be original to me. There is no installation point I can see on them, they seem for all the world to be stamped as part of the fenders themselves. The TD is black and has some old faded white sport stripes on the side along with what looks like a mountain scene or something. The thing is in pretty good shape and I am thinking of picking it up but I am just wondering if anyone here has seen this fender before? A few guys have either heard of them or seen them but I cannot find any pics anywhere that shows me this was part of a package. Thanks for any enlightenment and I am glad to be here.

Kind of like that but not exactly. There really is no flare at the front but it kicks into a pretty good one in the back, I have been going by the guys house for the last 3 days but cannot catch him at home and I dont like to even snap pics if no one is home. As soon as I can get some pics I will post them up here. Thanks for the replies so far.

Here are a few pics I took today. On second look I think this thing is an old 70's custom job. The flares are definitely metal but I can also see a bit of filler and I am sure the factory would not have done it. Still looks cool to me.
