Here's some pics of some other Ugly Ducklings, they're great trucks to take out on the "40 acre" baja track and not have to worry about driving around trees and kellyhumps. The TD is a $175 dollar special, '78 TD SE with a 400, and the '78 RC SE with a 360 is my bud's $100 deal. They both were doomed to be mudbog trucks being cut up for big tires until the 360 dodge lost reverse, and the TD doesn't have one piece of decent sheetmetal, we're all surprised it runs! : ) No way I could treat a decent shape dodge to that fun!

I love the thread heading jimbob! It almost begs to be a permanent topic heading for the forum!

To post a vehicle under this thread, does the vehicle have to cost $100 and under or under a thousand which would qualify as "hundred(s)?" If the later, I could post my 89 RAM which I got for $800. :D

Cool looking rigs! Some trucks just shine in spite of being "well used". Gotta love that "patina" for lack of a better term! Of course they look sweet mint too! :)

Heck I think anything under 1K is a pretty good deal! Depending on what is left of it! The TD and RC look great in pictures, but they sure are deceiving!

Here's a 500 dollar special, had to completely rewire it, but didn't need anything else, so basically time and wire! A nice '77 318 auto shortbox.. Didn't like the sunroof tho, ick..

I don't know if the Volare' counts, but it was free. The Ramcharger is my 500 buck score.

Ahh yes, those Monacos, I really like those slotted steel wheels with the hub cabs.

And the Volares? I think those would be a decent gas mileage car, with a 225 or 318 with the OD?

Here's another free dodge, '78 exforestservice rig, tight 318, 4speed, 4x4, basically for parts, cool thing it has stock 16" steel wheels on 5bolt

This was $150,got it a few years ago just for the motor and the front bumper. I ended up making my money back and then some selling the extras that I didn't need.
