Thanks! I can't wait to drive the charger, just had the motor on the dyno with 470hp and 520 tq. Should be a blast to drive, but with the way this winter is going it's going to be long time before I get to drive it.

Hey ya'll,
New member here, stumbled onto your site while researching for the restoration of my old power wagon. She is a "1979" by title but is mostly made up of my grandfathers old 1978 Macho. I was hoping to find some info and maybe a little bit of inspiration on the web about which direction to go with my restoration. To me this ol' truck has a bit of a unique background. Obviously in its current state it is built out of two different trucks. One my fathers old 1979 Dodge Power Wagon Warlock II Black on Black and my Grandfathers 1978 Dodge Power Wagon Macho Black and Orange I believe to be the original color scheme. At first I wasn't sure whether to go with the Warlock restoration or just turn her into a Macho. I am pretty sure at this point I am going to go with the Macho on the outside and keep the original Warlock interior with the pinstriping and all. (Any input would be well appreciated) I will upload a couple of pictures, all I have is what I have taken with my cell phone so the size and clarity may not be great. Well thanks again for this great site and allowing me to be a member... it is great to just read and follow along with all of the posts... THANKS!

Right On.
Welcome to the best place on the web
for these trucks.

Would be pretty cool as a black and orange
78 MACHO.

Which bed is on it now?

Has the black bed on it that you see in the picture... just finished up the body work on it the other day and primered it...

I quess I never summited my "ride" photos. Basic story is, I rescued the '79 Warlock from Ohio in 2006. Did some engine changes (put the smog equipment back on) and some wood, wheels, rear slider & paint work. 360 engine is stock original engine & auto trans. The photos were taken after the above work had been done in 2008. The photos were snapped on Michigan Bar Road in Sacramento County, SouthWest of Rancho Cordova in Northern California. Backgrounds are looking towards the Gold Bearing Foothills of El Dorado County. Red dirtroad is common for this area.
