Does anyone know what the wheel base is for a 80s ram 4door shortbox, 4WD?

and a 80s club cab long box 4x4? Are they the same? Brainstorming...

Thank for your help!

149 for both, but if your wanting to do the switch-a-roo with the crew cab on a club cab frame, the frame steps are in different locations...
we did a crew cab on a club cab frame....not as easy as one would think....
are you wanting to do a cummins crew cab conversion??????

aah yes, so you mean where the frame "sweeps" down or up (I can't remember which) past the cab itself? With that, it requires fabbing up some "L" bracket mounts to set the cab and/or box? We picked up a '93 cummins 5speed CC long box, body is pretty rusty, no floor/rockers etc. and there's a solid '84 Ram 4door 1ton 4x4 for sale for 1grand, so brainstorming what would be a "future" project!

Thanks for the help! I may have other questions once I look at this 4door for sale..

use EVERYTHING from the 93 into the 84 chassis and body. transfer eng, trans, axles....etc...
the one thing that your going to have to find is a 92-93 standard cab fuel tank, as that was another snafu that we ran into. the cc tank has an air pocket built into it where the rear cab sits...unless your going to put a body lift on it...

That's the kinda info I like to find out. Thanks. Any standard cab gas tank will work I'm assuming then. We have an '89 and a '90 1ton standard cab 4x4s for parts, so I'll see if those tanks would be good. Here's the truck that I'm looking at.. It's been for sale for a couple of weeks, so we'll try a best offer, the Dana60 is worth that.

I think it's impossible to find one w/o the rear doors not being dented. Both of my friends have 4doors, also with at least one dented door.....

Wish you were closer, I have a very clean 2wd crew cab short bed that has a nice body on it....but it is 2wd. yes, that ex-forrest service rig is worth the money IMO, dana 60 front....

yep, I think you are probably a 1000 mile trip eh?

Well here's some pics of the '84 4door I looked at
4x4 1ton 360 4bbl, 4speed, vinyl everything, heater and radio, thats it.
rust free
driver rear door pretty rough, all sorts of dents throughout, minor, looks like the drivers door must've taken it hard to be replaced....pass rocker pushed in..
runs and drives
1000 OBO, I'm thinking 700-800. The 60F would really be nice.

Found a donor for a 70s cummins powered truck. My bro and I were thinking, club cab long boxes are a lot easier to find and in better shape. It might be kinda hard to part out but the rest of it will always be used for something. How can anyone afford to drive a 440 everyday anyways?

'78 3/4ton club cab long box, factory running 440 TQ auto, tilt, AC, very straight except tailgate and hood, very minimal rust, 90s dodge wheels and tires for 700 bucks.

More fun..!
