I just bought my W200. (Base-model Power wagon; 360 engine, 727 trans, D44 front axle, and tilt column.....) It needs brakes upfront, anyhow, and while I'm there.......What about adding a set of lockouts? It's going to be a daily-driver, that's not afraid to leave the blacktop. I realize, it doesn't get the best mileage, but, at 97,000 miles....... looks like a turd ( Just paint color.)...... fires right up........ it's perfect for me. Something else I'm thinging about........ a T-case from a Scout 2. Same in-line shift pattern. :?: :?:

With the new rotors, and calipers, (I have NO idea about the condition of either) what more, is going to cost to add lock-out hubs? I've seen a couple of Chevys, from the same era, with that set up. The two technitions........desk guys..... I've talked to, haven't said anything either way. :?: :?:

easiest by far would be to find a 3/4 ton axle from a 1980-85 without the CAD front end and swap it out. If not, the outters from knuckle out(1980-1993 dana 44) should work on your full-time axle to make it part time.
