just rebuilt the thermoquad on my 76 powerwagon , 440 auto 4.09 gears, is ther an ungrade intake manifold for this or is the stock one sufficient , motor is stock 56000 miles!! |

Depends where your located. Your 440 came with an EGR emission system that is on your original manifold. If you were to ungrade to a 66-71 Mopar non EGR cast iron manifold you would be modifying the emission system......... That may matter if your in a state that requires emission inspections. If not, I would "upgrade" to an aftermarket aluminum manifold having a little cash sitting around for that project. |

thanks , my 440 has no emissions on it at all , its a bare bones motor , i am in canada so there are no emission laws!! its just a thought to change maifold while the carb is off! thanks |
