Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and also have a new pickup! I recently picked up a 73 W200 from a buddy to have as a farm truck as I slowly start to rest-mod it back you its full glory! I am going to go through the entire thing eventually and hope to then make it a daily driver. Things I am planning on doing to it:
-Full interior restore with update (new model seats, gauge cluster, sound etc)
-Going to pick up another 360 block to rebuild while drive it around, plan is as of right now is to do a low end torque 408 stroker.
-paint is decent but want to pull whole thing apart and have all metal reshoot
-disc brake conversion
-possible transmission change (need to do more research)
-rebuild and replace all that is needed in the rest of the powertrain
-Then start putting secondary accessories on i.e. Custom bumpers, off road lights etc
Just wanted to pop in, post some pictures, tell you guys what I was thinking for the final end result and see what you guys thought

Great Truck!

Joe at www.mopartruckparts.com has a lot of parts.

Look forward to seeing the progress.

those 8 lug trucks were a lot more "macho" (TOUGH)

than there little brother 1/2 tonners.

Right on, thanks! If you guys got any do's donut's or any advice, I would really appreciate it!

Update: Just drove hour and half and picked up the new engine for $60 and the guy said he was moving so gave me for free a hood, two doors, front quarter panels, inside door panels/trim, 3 grills, a set of headlight bezels and an extra carb. SCORE!
