Afternoon everyone! I have a question and im not sure where to post it, so since i dont have a macho or other "packaged" wagon, i suppose this fits the bill.

I was reading through the "Top Hand" section of our knowledgable fourm, and saw that one of the options for a top hand RC was a swing out spare tire carrier with a place for two water/gas cans. Thats fricken cool!!! Then i thought why couldnt i put that on my truck? My goal for my truck is to be as factory (all parts avalible in the 70's) as possible but also what every little boy wanted for his 16th birthday (in the 70's)! V8, dual exhaust, brown/grey/black cloth/vinyl bench, roll bar, bull bar, cb, lights, dual tanks, spoke wheels, etc etc etc... thought this would complete the image...

Is there any reason that wouldnt work on a PW? If i remember right all the RC/TD to this point were still convertable, so they would have had a tailgate not a lift gate... And how difficult is it going to be to find this particular tire carrier that holds the two cans?

That looks familiar....
A ramcharger carrier would work too...

Thanks guys, so ive learned that this particular hickey carrier mounted to both sides of the bed and hooked onto the tailgate for support, opening on both sides.... Have yall ever seen one? Or had any experience with one? Anyone know where abouts i might find one?

The Hickey Bar might be a little tough to find....
Have a normal ramcharger carrier
