Found this Dodge on CL a few weeks ago, actually it was rolled into a local junkyard, 700 bucks firm on the price, with title, Not as good as a deal as Sam's rig tho! : )

78 3/4ton club cab long box, factory 440 with TQ, super straight except inside box, tailgate, hood, and bumpers, tilt steering, dealer installed AC(?) I'd say the tires and newer dodge wheels are worth 400 bucks.. A neat interior color. Some other usual problems..

he said the front axle was broke, only found one bad ujoint with the axle still usable. He didn't think I would get it running or moving. Was able to dump some gas in it, put in a battery and fire it up! The yard guys were kinda surprised I think. I had to save it before it was parted out. It may be used for the body on a diesel conversion and use the 440 in a red express or something fun. This truck stuff is fatal, but cheaper than working on muscle cars! :D

More fun. Almost spring here, time to fire up the Satellite!

Ahh yes, that blue and black is a beauty, talk about a nice (and rare) truck! 440 and SE, shortbox, 1/2ton, I like those wheels a lot too. See you guys find all the nice looking trucks and I find all of the basket cases to fix up! How'd you do that?

Here's another that I picked up a few months ago, just to fix up and sell to fund buying a diesel truck. Actually just finished it today, so gonna put it out on the hiway and see what happens. '79 1/2ton originally a slant six, now 318 4bbl, 4speed, 4x4, a nice running truck putting 200 some miles on it a few weeks ago. Quite a bit of blue tho. Noone's buying much nowadays I think.. Crossing my fingers.
