hey guys, i new here and i am hoping you can help me with some info so i dont make a very bad choice. ok,i am currently gather parts to rebuild a 1979 lil red express. well i went to a auction that a towing yard was having.i saw a wrecked 79 powerwagon with all of the right interior peices that i need including the bucket seats.when i was looking over the truck i thought to myself "wow...what a crazy 80's paint scheme".
well i bought with only the intent to get the interior and crush the rest of the truck cause the cab is rusted and the front axle is gone.so before i do that i decieded to do a little research and stumble across this sight and relized i may have a orange/black long bed macho but not 100% sure.
i will try to post up some pic but any info will be awesome.

What an awesome, yet heartbreaking find! How badly is the frame and cab damaged? I know you would be a hero among the members of this site if you resurrected this truck. Keep us posted on your progress, please!

well the front part of the frame is bent real bad and the cab is rusted on the top part a little bit and the drivers side floor is gone.however the bed is in decent shape and i think the bed is a important part.but i think i still need to figure out key points thats makes it a macho. in anycase i have been thinking alot of trying to do something cause i realy want to build a powerwagon also and i know i can get another frame and front clip.

awesome ...thanks for the help but after some thought i dont realy think i can save this truck but i can take every part i can thats useable and try and find another one.i know it maybe a shame but she is too far gone for me to tackle.
however if one of yall wants what left after i pull the parts i need you are more than welcome to it.i would rather give it to someone that can use something than crush it.i want to build a macho truck with this design
