I'm assuming by the looks of things, I just follow along with this thread. Just got my 1st RamCharger a few months ago. It was a bribe from my older brother to move back home lol. Older bro has a uhm,...well 74 and up RC haha. He knows these things inside and out I swear!! Not driving mine just yet, as I'm making a few alterations to it. ;) It's a 1979, currently has a 318 (born with a 360 and WILL be getting one again soon) at least a 4-6" lift, 33 12.5 15's. A buddy of mine swears it's a Macho. I'll see if I can dig up a couple pics of it later. Gotta find em first. I ran the VIN from the title and it decodes as follows...

A1 MODEL DESIGNATION AW100

0 BODY TYPE Sport Utility or Forward Control Chassis and Incomplete Chassis

T ENGINE TYPE 360-4 or 360-1

9 MODEL YEAR 1979

C ASSEMBLY PLANT Jefferson Plant

Howdy from Oklahoma!
Have a 77 Macho. Original Bright Red PY3116 color. Last owner painted it 98 Viper Red. He took off Roll bar, Rims and threw them out. Still have original spare with rim. Want to get another Roll bar for it some day. It is My daily driver.

Would not let me post picture

Mark

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum! Due to server restraints, picture size is limited to 1024x768. You can scale the image down with an image editor to that size or smaller and then can post it. I for one would love to see pictures of your truck! :)

new here ,forum looks good, kinda cool to see all the macho trucks. i own a 1980 macho.unfortunately is been hacked, mostly by the previous owner.i lifted it,added a winch and plow, now contemplating attacking the body.will try to post a pic but me and things like that dont mix.like oil and water.

i live in eastern manitoba, pretty much in the salt belt so you can guess what the condition the body is in.
i am a licenced mechanic, dabble in bodywork and upholstery, but is seems my projects never make it to the back burner..lol.time to get a bigger stove.

Ive been a member of this site for almost 3 years now so I guess I should introduce myself. I have met Palomino and Last 440 already, I live in the southeast corner of Kansas 40 miles west of Joplin,MO. I grew up a Ford guy since my dad worked for Ford, and my first car was a 1971 Bronco that I sold when I was in college. about 15 years ago after a couple marriages and divorces I was looking for another bronco and came across a beat and battered 77 ramcharger with a 360 and a 4 speed and 33 inch swampers. I bought it for $250 and have been hooked ever since. I have owned about 20 ramchargers since then, some pretty nice and some not. I now own a really nice 90 ramcharger and a roached 77 macho ramcharger. I really like the hard to find stuff, tophands, palominos, bighorns etc. but my true addiction is ramchargers of any year. I have always been into the off road thing but I dont like to beat my trucks up like some do, so mine are just "posers" lol! I have been in auto sales the last 16 years and have sold at ford, dodge and GM dealerships and am currently the business manager of a small Chevy, Buick store.

Welcome Welcome!

We recently experienced, "technical difficulties" for new member sign ups.

We had tried to achieve the right balance of easy for everybody and still

keeping some fences up against the dreaded spambots. We accidently left

a lot of "would be" members waiting for approval. OOOPS Sorry. This is

a labor of love and we really hate it, when we mess up, and we did.

SOOOOO..... hopefully we have correctly brought in a huge backlog of waiting

members, and hopefully they will post away with all their cool trucks and stuff.

REMEMBER, pics are worth a ... well you know. Carry on.

And, Welcome new MPW members!
