It's been an extremely long day...

This morning at around 4:30 AM we suffered a "brownout" that caused all sorts of hardware problems for me from coffee makers to radio stations to Linux servers.

Without going into all the gory details, our main server was damaged. For a while we thought the hard drive was shot which would have been catastrophic. Luckily it was okay. We think the server's mother board got screwed up.

We're now up and going on a less robust machine so you might notice a little sluggishness over the other server. Let me know how load times are.

At any rate, sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience. I'll have several glasses of sour mash tonight after this day...

Some of you may have noticed erratic performance on the site in the last two days. I've been making major changes and configurations which have often led to broken links and being off line for periods of time. I hope to have it all done in another day or two so please bear with me. I apologise for the inconvenience.

That's it I've had it.

We had an electrical storm yesterday and the power went haywire again causing damage to my back up server. The one we're on now was thrown together from pieces of a few older machines. There's just not a dependable source of electricity here to maintain a website.

I've decided to move the site over to a hosting company and will begin that process next week. Hopefully, if everything goes well, no one will even notice the transition. However, should y'all experience trouble reaching the site, you'll know what the deal is. Thank you for your patience.
