Morning all,
To claify the semi old owner, my dad has had a 78 Macho since 77, yep an original owner. Bought it in Colorado. I didn't get to drive it to much because I was playing with P3's in the Navy. Even though I did install a set of headers, and put in an overhead console with am/FM cassette remeber this was in 79 while I was home on leave. My brother drove it some, even had a fender bender with it, which is why it now has a pipe style bumper, and the front fenders were painted again in 79/80.
He had the hood repainted a couple of years ago with a semi-gloss paint, but the rest of the truck is original, right down to the am/cb. He did install some fender flares quite a bit ago, which look ok, but if they were to stay they need wider tires.
This past summer my brother and I were at home in CO, and my dad mentioned something about selling ol yellow, we both said no it needs to stay in the family, and my brother even threw out there when he does decide to sell it ought too go to me first as I have garage to store it.
Then Oct. last year my wife and I were making a normal run to wally world for groceries but latter than usual, don't know why I just go along with her. :) Anyway we head over to this moving van, she parks her truck, and wanders over to the trailer, and wants me to come along, and as they open up trailer, in sits ol yellow. When I called my dad to thank him, he said that he had been talking to ol yellow, and it told him that it was ready to retire to FL, so after 30 years in CO, it is now in FL. I am sure my 2 daughters are now trying to figure out who is going to get it next.
BTW it only has 54,000 miles on it.

and THANKS for putting up this site, good luck guys

Mike

It is a stock 360 with an automatic, no air, with the bucket seats. The only mod so far has been the 3 sets of headers it has gone through. :)

mike....
welcome to the site!
you have a nice looking survivor truck there....probably one of the best surviving unrestored trucks that I have seen.
