Hello all --

Somewhat new to Dodge trucks (am on my 2nd Power Wagon now) -- although neither was/is a Macho (or Adult Toy for that matter).

My ex-'79 did however have its front donated from a fallen '79 Macho -- it wasn't until after I pulled the parts and researched it a year and a half ago that I even knew what a Macho was -- and since I've been keeping an eye open for a '79 or '80. Had I known any better I should have pulled the roll bar (the only salvageable part left besides the front end) -- I'm sure it's long gone now though.

My current '78 is a reg. cab/shorty/4-speed -- originally a 318 but somewhere along the line a slightly hopped up 383/400 was dropped. It had been sitting for a couple of years so I'm bringing it up to snuff mechanically.

My ex-'79 was also a reg. cab/shorty/auto but had its original 318. Ever since I started looking for a truck I was drawn to the older Dodges -- even standard Power Wagons are a somewhat rare site here -- and once learning about the Adult Toys -- I gained even more love for them!

So for now that's all -- love the site and all I've learned since stumbling upon here a few days ago! :D

Thanks guys! I'm really amazed at the amount of knowledge on this site -- seems like I keep picking up stuff I never knew existed!

Welcome,
I would agree that Colorado got some very cool Machos.

And, some have survived, better than others.

Brought back two from the Denver area. 78 Med Tan Metallic 440,
and an orange 80.

Think the area was a good combo of Population,
Elevation, and Capitalisation.

Found a 79 in Craig pretty well parted.

(At least it was when I left ;) )

Well hopefully in time I'll be able to track one down here...or in a surrounding state.
