Post subject:  A New Host and Server for MachoPowerWagon.com!
Well, we finally did it! We've been working on it for a while but we are now on our new server hosted by DigitalOffice.com. Making this move will enable us to accommodate more traffic with a faster server and Internet connection, and provide us with statistics on forum usage.

Unfortunately we lost a few posts in the process. Any post or thread that was made between 3:53PM (EST) and the time of this one was lost. I'm sorry for that but it's very difficult getting these things coordinated just right. I know of at least two things we lost... one was a few posts in the "Some 79-80 Macho Power Wagons in Idaho," started by jimbob and the other was the thread I-W started wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving. I apologise for the inconvenience.

Please take time to stroll around the forum and see what you think. If you run into any problems, please let me know. :)

Okay, I just noticed many if not all the pictures that accompany posts are not showing up. Don't worry, they are not lost, just not getting picked up yet. We'll get this fixed shortly. Thank you for you patience!

Probably not. The main advantage we now have is the ability to handle many connections simultaneously. Even though the old server was fast, it always got bottlenecked by the Internet connection. More than just a few connections would bog it way down.

What we had was a 440 with small skinny street tires. What we have now is a 400 with Super Swampers! :lol:

thank you for all you do for the site. its hard to find good places for one of my favorite topics, old doge trucks. although it isnt the biggest, this place is definitely one of my favorites!
