Haven't had much luck locating a long bed from this era. When I do it's usually beat up pretty bad, and if it's not the seller wants a fortune for it. I'd prefer a 360 automatic with part-time 4x4 in running condition. Body doesn't have to be perfect, but decent. Would also prefer a 250, but the right 150 would do.
Thanks.
Mike

I've got a 1980 Power Wagon, 3/4 ton, long bed. It's in fair shape with lots of newer parts (including a rebuilt engine). I've owned it for 20 - 25 years. I drove it into the garage 7 years ago and haven't looked at it in a while. One of those projects I've always meant to finish, but haven't got the time. I'm in Rochester, NY.

Thanks for the reply. I don't get to check the boards as often as I'd like, I'm a truck driver, and am always on the road. Yes, the '79 or '80 is my preferred year. Do you have any photos? What are you asking?

1980 Dodge Power Wagon - SnoCommander (about 100,000 mile on it)
3/4 ton, 8 foot bed, dual plastic fuel tanks
factory original 7.5 foot Meyers power angle plow (controls in the cab)
360 engine (less than 10,000 miles on it)
4 barrel carb
727 automatic transmission (weakest part of the truck)
"new" tires (they were new when i put the truck into the garage 7 years ago)
new brakes
new exhaust
new hydraulic lines on plow
new steering gear box (steering is still a bit sloppy, because of the way the steering wheel connects into the gear box)
rebuilt front hub (it's from a ford - they are dana / spicer axles)
i've owned it for 20 - 25 years.
it ran and drove pretty well 7 years ago. i used it as a plow truck on my farm. when i sold the farm and moved, I put it in the garage intending to continue using it as a plow truck. in very short order, it was buried in crap. it was more work to move everything off of it than it was to just shovel my small driveway. so, it's been sitting ever since. the truck hasn't been in any (major) accidents, but there is rust on it. the frame is in pretty good shape, so is the bed. the cab has got some rust issues. there's a tailgate on it, and i replaced one of the doors.

how much? i don't know. i was thinking 1,500 - 2,000. if you are serious, let's talk. i'd rather see the truck used than just sitting, to be honest. (i've actually been toying with restoring it lately, which is why i was poking around this site.)
