the NP 203 is full time 4WD correct? if it is does it act like a mechanical AWD car when not locked in either 4 high or 4 low? does it work well on dry pavement roads or does it help the truck eat your tires?

Thanks.

it is a full-time transfer case. when you have it in hi or low, it acts like normal, but when you place it in the "LOC" position, then you will be locked up, and it will not want to turn on dry surfaces, and is not recomended for pavement in "LOC". this t-case works nicely when launching a boat....just put it into low and go from there....
