They finally got around to putting Kim's Top Hand in MCG.It's a really good article which focuses quite a bit on Vic Hickey's role in the Top Hand. For those of us who didn't know we also find out the whole process of the rebuild and what Kim went through before it ever began. She's 1 tough lady. 8-) It's a good read. Now I wonder how long we'll have to wait to see an article on the proto. Top Hand R.C.

It's a very good article. Just bought a copy at Barnes & Noble. They talk about production numbers and say 200 top hands were made for the U.S. and 2 for Canada. Kim wants to sell it for $125,000. In the video she looks 50-55 but she's actually 70 years young. Hard to believe. Anyways, also in the article they say the macho is the most legendary but also the most forgotten "Adult Toy" power wagon. Very cool and a good read. We should message MCG and request for them to do an article on the machos too. Now that would be awesome.

I cant believe they only made around 200 of them. It's funny how they changed a few things on the prototypes. The wheel decals, grill gaurd, steering wheel center and center caps are different. The fender decal looks smaller on the prototype truck as well but I could be wrong. It looked small in the early Chuck artical as well.

I wonder where the 200 number comes from? Hard to prove one way or the other really but they are definately not very common.

Article said they were not shipped as finished vehicles, but rather the dealer ordered all the accessories and installed them to 'make' a TH. My dad said his TH was delivered with all the equipment installed. Article also said they came in yellow or white, no mention of silver. MCG is a decent mag but doesn't seem like know much about trucks.

Ya, the article says Dodge themself didn't build them in Detroit, but instead the customer had to go to the dealer to custom order the Top Hand and what they wanted on it. Was your dad's a showroom model that the dealer ordered themselves to show a Top Hand?
