I know of a truck nearly identical (although the paint looks nowhere near as nice) in a yard nearby. Owner of the yard has the title... SWB, 2WD, /6, 4-speed, short bed, orange, prospector! I've been tempted to see what he wants for it but I have a feeling it's more than I'd want to pay! :-\

Look forward to seeing more pictures!

I plain on driving it, and just detailing it up. I've always loved this stripe package and really like it in the orange color. I'm going to keep it all original and install a set of nos original dog dishes for it. I also plan on installing a nice non step rear bumper for the back of it. The paint on this truck should turn out as nice as the orange prospector ramcharger I had with alittle buffing.

The truck looks crazy straight with no dings or dents. I cant wait till it shows up. Here's what I'm thinking the paint will look like when I buff it all back out as this ramcharger had the same fadded look to it when I start detailing it up. I'll make sure to tape off the factory stripes so not to hurt them.

 WOW! If the orange paint can be shined up like that maybe I should go take a 3rd (or is it 4th) look at that truck! Besides the stripe, was there anymore to the Prospector package on the pre-'81 trucks?

Got'cha. I don't even see the prospectors mentioned in the '79 brochure I have...is there any literature about them?
