I'll post some more pics up from inside the brochures. I can't promise anything from the magazines because the binding is bad enough, and these are in perfect condition. We just took them out of the basement a few months ago after not seeing the light of day for around 30 years. It's too bad, because you guys would love the full write up about the macho in the magazines that take up like 4 to 5 pages and have lots of pictures. They test a 440 short bed fully loaded macho, and give it marks from 1-10 on everything. They tell how much horsepower it has, and how much it cost with add-ons like the macho package and skylite sunroof and 440 engine. The base power wagon was like $5,000 and the fully loaded macho tested was around $10,000. Twice the money, and the air conditioning cost more than the 440 engine to order. No wonder why these trucks were so rare, they were like the most expensive pick-up out there at the time. I'll see what I can do with scanning, and if I can't, I'll tell you more about it.
