Scored two wagon wheels today -- one with a useable center cap! :D

I have a line on a few more in Denver...might go snatch them this weekend...especially if they have center caps!.

I think those are a good investment for the future.

They will never make any more.

And that vintage stuff is starting to dry up.

Good score!

Thank you sir! I knew this yard had the two I picked up listed online -- unfortunately they didn't have any others -- or center caps. They had some real similar caps, which at first glance I thought were the correct ones, but upon closer look they weren't (from a jeep is what I think the guy said).

Any idea what the proper orange is for the wheels?

It's on the back of your wheels?

I had a set done for the 81 Macho TD

shown in the picture section.

Can't remember the color (powder)

but we matched to the inside of the rims.

(where the air goes) and the sun don't

True and inside of the original wheels is a very good idea, but I was thinking once I have a complete set of 4 extras then I'll have them painted/powder-coated and then swap the current tires to those wheels -- then have the original set refinished.

There may be a part # ink/paint stamped

on the back?

Would be cool to have a stamp made and replicate that.

:)
