Hi guys, I am the owner of the 79 Power Wagon from S & S. Sorry I have not put up more information on it. Honestly, when I purchased the truck in 1989, people would say simon and simon truck, yeah right. So I pretty much keep it tucked away and really dont show it much. I drive it a couple times a year when the weather is nice other than that I keep it tucked away. I just found this site and realize quite a few of you here will appreciate this truck. It is just as stated nothing has changed on this truck since 1989 except changing the oil, a front driveshaft, and recently a set of used tires the original tires were cracking, I left them on utnil they just got to dangerous to drive!

I for 1 would love to see some pics of your S&S Macho inside and out when you get time if you don't mind posting them here for us. 8-)

I think we'd all love to hear how you came about purchasing it to.Any idea of how many of the S&S Machos they had used on the show?Did you buy it directly from the movie company or did you buy it from an individual?

Welcome kenny70w30! Glad to see you found us and joined the boards. As is the case with some others here, the S & S Macho was what got me interested in these trucks. I was and still am a big fan of the show. I'm so glad you are keeping it in its original condition. I hope you'll share some more pictures!

Hi Kenny,
Sorry for posting the one you asked to have removed. I got so excited over finding out the truck is sill around, that I lost sight of your privacy. Please understand, this truck to me and many others is the Holy Grail. I would have gladly removed it myself had I seen your post earlier. Please don't let my post discourage you from posting here or being a part of the group. We are all very interested in this truck, and salute you for caring for it so well.
