The tailgate on the macho lost a linkage today, i noticed there's no access panel and was praying that it wouldn't ever lose a linkage but alas it did. So I was wondering if anybody knew a good way to get in the tailgate and re attach the linkage?

well the linkage actually broke so I ended up just taking the whole assembly for the passenger side off. Then when I couldn't find a replacement linkage anywhere I ended up deciding that the driver's side tailgate lock could hold the tailgate itself, so I fabricated a blocking plate to cover the empty hole on the passenger side (bad wasp problem around here) and so far it seems to be holding up alright.
