Those tires look like the old bias ply Formula Desert Dogs.

Engine turned over without hesitation! Lights all still work, heater and blower motor work. I was attempting to siphon fuel out of the gas tank and the metal neck on top of the tank broke off. Either I have to fix it or get another tank. I'm gonna drop the tank down to check it out soon.

would also like to see some more pictures of the underhood area, and the interior. It would be a little unusual for the tires to be changed out to a very similar tire at such a low mileage....not trying to be a cynic, but until I see some more, I will be a little cynical about it...lol :(

Be a cynic all ya want but the tires were never changed and has only had one owner which has the original title work and papers from factory. I wouldn't lie about it I have no reason to I have no plans on selling or representing it otherwise. I just needed a little advice and knowledge from people that have been around the trucks before.

Also, I think your plan of preserving it, in tact, is the

way to go. Very, Very few exist as survivors.

The white one that was in MCG comes to mind.

These things just weren't saved, so it's really a rarity.

Lot of guys here will drool on their keyboards

over some more pics!! :D

For What It's Worth....
Goodyear Trackers were Original Equipment on Dodge Truck that came with the 10x15LT tire package....only exception was General Scrambler for a very short run in 77.
So do the papers from the factory say"Desert Dogs" on them...that would be cool to see
I never said that you were not trying to be honest about representing what the truck is....
ok, trying to get more info from you to help alittle with it for you...guess any knowledge I may have requires looking at and investigating what is there....hard to tell what is there off of a couple of average pictures...
that make sense?
not trying to offend you, but if you are, SORRY..
