Kind of hard to tell anything from pictures, but I was wondering what those who know these trucks better than I do think of it. A good risk?

I think the price is right. Everything is rebuilt. Just get the engine to run right is a deal.
GO FOR IT!!!!!!

It's a rust bucket.

he wasted his $ if he spent 15 grand and it doesn't run right.

I would suspect everything. Wonder what it will bring, 2500 + - ?

Couldn't even clean the salt off for the pics

look at the bed sides and the doors and dog legs.

Rather see you get a rock solid stripper than a pimped out pile.

(just sayin)

and no I don't have a long bed for sale

but there are plenty on the left coast, that aren't iron oxide

I was looking at the rust too. The only real things going for it according to my plans are that it's got the correct hood and quad headlights, and it's a long bed. I don't like the fender flares, and I wonder what removing them would leave behind. I see quite a few left over holes to be welded shut. Gotta think on this one. Thanks!

too much else to do first.

Headlights are a minor thing. Just need quad buckets and lights. The truck looks pretty solid. Washington is a bit far away, but I'm a truck driver, and I pull flatbed. We get west coast runs sometimes. Last year this week I was in California, and the week before Christmas I was in WA, Oregon, and Ca. So, you never know.
Thanks !
