Were all of the 79 Macho trucks painted the main body color in the engine bay?, or were they all painted the Satin Black?

yes, they were satin black in both 79 and 80. it seems that the 77 and 78 models were main body color under there...except the hood underside may have been black...and of corse the area under the cowl filler panel was always satin black too..
