Well if any of you guys followed my last build, I have the red 78 macho. I ended up having paint issues that were resolved. Used the truck as a driver. Been in multiple car shows and brought trophies home every time which made me very proud. Still have the truck and love it. I recently did some swapping with a guy for some beat up 79 toyota that I had, and am going to pick up my new 78 white macho on saturday. Best part about this one is not only is it the original owner, it's a 4 speed!! He still has all the original parts including roll bars. And best of all, he is still driving it 65 mph down the interstate on a weekly basis.

That's cool as heck, white seems to be rare on them. Four speeds are super fun to drive. I never use 1st in mine as it's so low.

Well here we go....... Got some nice parts I've been gathering and saving for a while. Gonna get used now. Starting with a freshly worked 1978 360 block bored .40 over and a custom ground crank. And yes that is a pair of late 03 model magnum 360 heads going to the machine shop monday..... Custom grind cam just ordered from comp cams to work with the early block and late heads. Trying to decide on pistons. I'm getting excited.

Well as with all my Power Wagons, there is always a funny story with their trips home. The first one I bought out of Birmingham Alabama. I live in central Arkansas. Went to get it with the first (and last) 4.7 dodge truck i'll ever own. 45 minutes into the return trip, headgaskets blew on the 4.7. 8 hour drive with the heater on full blast in July heat. Well this one was no different. Hauled the old toyota to the guy for a trade on saturday. All went well. Loaded the Power Wagon up and headed back. 15 minutes into the return trip, blew the last spare that I had for the trailer. SOOOOOOOO..... had a buddy with me, he drove my Cummins truck with an empty trailer, and I drove the new Power Wagon 165 miles back to the house without a hitch..... She's home!!
