It was very exciting to see my new Macho arriving to it's destination and into my care tonight. Thanks Jeff for everything, this Macho is in good hands and a good home! :)

So after lots of hard scrubbing and cleaning, the old Macho came out pretty clean. I trid something a little different since the paint is already sun damaged, i grabbed a pail of hot water and a couple of those Magic erasers meant for cleaning kitchens, it worked really good and took pretty well all of the oxidation out. I then took the liberty of touching up the bumpers and the bottom half of the truck with semi gloss paint, since i wont be doing a full restore on this truck right away. It will make for good protection aginst any elements until the time comes.

It actually turned out pretty good!, the next thing i will tackle is the hood, and the upper part of the cab, i will also be replacing the Brakes and Master Cylinders, as well as some new gaskets, i will keep updating as i go along.

Thanks Guys!, i feel it's a real privilege to be able to own these trucks, definitely among the coolest ones of that era.
