Im just trying to decide if I should keep it original, or make it mine...
I have a 77 W100 Sweptline (shortwide). VIN confirms it has a 440ci, 727 auto, rollbar, sunroof, and some (funky) blue decal graphics all the way around. No lettering anywhere. Its a completely unmolested truck with 81K (runs excellant). Original split front bench. Even has original radio...It has some rust in the lower front fenders and inside upper cab. Should I ruin the graphics and do the repair? Or is it something special??? Any help is GREATLY appreciated...Clint...yont2try@yahoo.com
Ill try to add a pic...

Here's a couple of photos of a '77 Dodge Warhorse. It has some unusual side graphics.
Are the graphics similar to your truck?

Very similar. I wish I could figure out how too post a pic. Mine does not say War Horse on it though. It has a blue decal down the side with a kind of sunset in Arizona type pic on the rear quarter...If you email me I can send pics... yont2try@yahoo.com

Very nice truck. Have you tried to find previous owners? It may just be a custom paint job someone had done back then.

Looks like as great project!!!!!
I agree with Last440. The mural painting may have been ordered by the dealer on your truck. Probably done by a Paint Shop Local to the dealer.
The Truck was probably a "Draw Vehicle" ( had all the options: 440, roll bar) to get the truck buyers in for a look at their Dodge products.............I suspect the "Warhorse" was also a "Draw Vehicle" done by some or by one dealer in the Southwest U.S. Possibly all the exterior accessories were install by the Dealer. The interior was probably a kit that could possibly be purchased through the parts department. Then install by the local Upholstery Shop or some one talented in the Dealer's shop.

The graphics are decals. Its a West Coast Truck and the previous owner (original Owner) has passed away. It was supposed to go to his Grandaughter but she didnt want it so it went with his estate. Thats where I got it. (it sat for 12 years) It has not be touched at all. I did put a new radio in but I used an adapter kit. No cutting. It even has a speaker up on the driver side for what I can only believe was CB radio. It does have some rust in the drip rails and front fenders that I want to fix but I hate the thought of messing up the graphics. Guess Ill just keep cleaning and fixing the simple stuff for now...Any info would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanx for all the input.
