To keep the question simple, if both trucks is the same condition, what would the price vary between a short vs long bed?

It is what is more desirable for buyer...
Personally I like short beds, but a loaded long bed would catch my eye too.

Agreed that desirability is the key here.

Short bed trucks of all brands are far more desirable than a long bed. In many situations the value can be 50%+ for the short bed. Or maybe let's say the long bed could be worth 50%+ LESS!

I personally do not think that is the situation with a MACHO as the unique parts are what make the MACHO valuable. With the exception of the rollbar that's about the only difference parts wise that I am aware of that is different between a long bed and a short bed.

I am sure others will chime in if I am mistaken!

Would I turn down a long bed Macho if it fell in my lap? No, but I do prefer the shortys. They just seems like more of a sporty truck whereas a long bed (sans the graphics and roll bar) looks like a contractor or ranch truck...

Reason being I found a Longbed, orange, 440 auto. No title, but think I can get one.
Trying to see how desirable it would be.
