 Post subject: Is factory AC on a macho rare?

Noticed very few has factory AC. I have found one that does. Is this not common or very unlikely to have it? It would be a nice option to have!

Stuff that is turning up lately has not had ac. It was about 700 dollar option in the day, more money than a 440...

Quite a few turned up in Mid Cal that got dealer installed.

I am in the process of restoring a 79 macho with factory A/C. I have removed it .will this drop the value?

In my eyes it would. If you are restoring a truck, it should be put back to original as possible. Otherwise it should be re-doing a vehicle. But allways remember that it is your vehicle to do with as you please. Most of us are just happy to see a classic back on the road.
