Hey Guys, I'm back. Just getting my new house squared away, havent really had any time for my truck yet. I need a little guidence. I'm gonna rebuild my 360 for the truck for the time being, then probably swap a 440 in. I have the 360 hot tanked and ready for rebuild. I don't want to spend probably more than 2500.00 on engine parts. I need everything new except I have the stock heads and crankshaft. The engine is a 1976 A. What would be the best horsepower for the money? Ive seen rebuild kits with pistons and verious other parts in summit and jegs. Should I spend the extra money on new heads or a different crank or can I get decent horsepower from stock? I'm shooting for 300 ponies but don't have to have it. Thanks in advance for any help. I have a machine shop already lined up, just want some input before I head in. Also is there any specific magazines like summit or jegs that are devoted to mopar? Everyone favors ford and chevy in the other two mentioned.

Yeah I got to figure out the details but I'll be able to check it out before I have to go to work. Chip Foose is the guest of honor this year and they have some kind of jeep poker run that I'm gonna try to get in.
