Hello Palomino Well it is alright. As for being as advertized No. They claimed original paint but it was painted in 87 and new stripe kit put on it. Other than that it was fairly close. Not sure what to do about the paint issue Fenders have had work dont to them. box seems good doors and cab seem alright. Just a little ticked off about the paint thing. i emailed them see what kind of a response i get first. What does eveyone else think should i make a deal out of it? Was hoping for a nice original truck.

that sux, I doubt that "they didn't know", but most people would know about that stuff. The 79-80 decals are now available from Phoenix Graphics....
Is it nice enough to clean up and put back to stock appearing to drive, or is it going to need a lot of work???
I still like it a LOT though!!

Ya i think it will be an easy resto. Take a year or so to gather the money and parts to do it the way i want. If i get the seat and gauge cluster(factory tach) and aluminum slots i have a good head start on what i want changed. I send my road runner in for new paint and a color change so drive the macho the way it is for now. At least a guy can go wheeling and not have to worry much right now.
Love my first Macho!!!

Congrats on the truck. Always nice to get one home safe and sound. I know all to well the snow storms you drive through to get them home. Is it worth it? You bet it is! Maybe see it a show sometime in the future. :)
