1978 Dodge "Macho" Power Wagon - $1250 (Wright)

1978 Dodge, macho package, power wagon. 35" tires and aluminum rims. 400 engine (not running) and auto tranny. Really rare, and would make an awesome project truck.

I got a few more pictures from the owner...it's rough, but not beyond saving. It's been parked for 5 years or so and has a bit of rust...

I drove about 2 hours with truck and trailer to buy this. I got there and its a little rougher than you might think. The inner fenderwells and fenders have all been cut out for larger tires. Both leafs in the rear have broken leaf springs in them. No drivelines, no carb and has had an open intake for a while. To tell you the truth there was no vin and no fender tag either. We ended up passing on the deal. Guy has a ton of parts in his garage for it though. Nice guy, just not a nice truck.

Word for the cautious I guess.

CHEEEP!

needs some sheet metal, maybe a bed

but they just aren't popping up as often any more.

Even out west, where they tended to rust less/ last longer

A whole lot of "backyard" trucks are gone.

Looks worth saving from here.
