Hi guys Im new to this forum and also to the Dodge Macho world. I came across a 78 Snow commander. The seller said it also has the Macho Package as well. The main problem is the 440 it came with, is in a pile in the back yard. The pistons are missing as well as the roll bar, and the plow. The seller is asking $2600 for the truck. He said he knows what the truck is worth in its present state. I will include pictures. And i would like as much feedback as possible on the matter. The other problem is I have no way of knowing if the transmission is good. And does anyone know if snow commanders did come with a Macho package in78?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but that doesn't appear to be either. I don't see the sno commander controls on the dash. Also I don't believe you could get a sno commander macho. Post a bigger pic of the exterior because if that blue truck is it, it isnt the macho paint scheme.

Agreed, doesn't look like a macho or a factory plow snow commander either...

I guess I can keep looking for a good snow plow. I've been watching this truck for the better part of a month.

I think it is a Sno Commander. See what appears as two holes to the left of the steering column, that is where the two levers were for the controls. I would go look at mine, but it is about 5 below zero at 11-45 pm and it is in a very cold shed.

Thats true, but you couldn't get a/c or cruise with the factory plow package...
