 Post subject: LRE wheels?

Parted out a little 78 shortbox the other day, it had these wheels on it, they kinda look like the LRE wheels, but not?, these might be 15X7s too, any way to ID? are 15" thanks!

The wheels look like 8". There is a code on the wheels. I think it's near the valve stem hole on the lip of the tire bead bend...... OR just measure between tire bead area though the ovel hole with a tape measure....... Some vans came with 7"... 1/2Ton Trucks with that type of wheel came with an 8" width.
'78 LRE had 7"s only in the front 8" in back and no spare with that type of wheel. The '79 LRE had 8" slotted chrome rims all around with a matching spare.
Still, there is a good value in the slotted 8" chrome rims. And those look pretty good in the chrome plating department.

Thanks for the info, I know the 78s had two different sizes, couldn't remember how that went. Traded them off to a guy this week for some more macho truck stuff, hopefully they weren't worth more than that..
