Looking for a roll bar for my 79. The catch is that the roll bar has to fit a short box STEP-SIDE box!!! Still looking for 15 x 12 western turbines half ton. Thanks dodgebee@mchsi.com

Here's a sad little story.
Not sure if it sad because it's true,
or because of what I almost did.

I was in the over congested land
of little cars and crazy drivers, to get
a pickup bed. Had my dually and car
hauler.

My lights on my trailer were non-op
and I was trying to get before dark.

Pulled into a shopping center to grab
some chow and could not find a single,
(double) place to park.

I went to pull out and get back on the
freeway, only to find 8 million other fools
trying to do the same thing. Lunch time.

I finally got into 1 of two exit turn lanes
back to the avenue, then hopefully be in
the correct lane for the on ramp, and that
after going thru three lights and not getting
stuck in an intersection with my tail hanging
out.

What a mess.

But........

As the lane next to me edged up,
I could see a landcaping truck with
rakes and mowers and stuff. And as
it edged further along side me I could
see all the Garbage form the yard they
must have hust cleaned up.

Piled high in the dump trailer they were towing.

I knew it was all going to the trash.
Brush, broken toys, garbage.
On top of it all.

4 tires and rims.

Tires were big, like for a 4x4,
but junk.

But the rims....

One of the nicer sets of aluminum
aftermkt turbines I've seen. Probably
15x10s. Just wasn't a thing I could do.

So I just watched, as they inched forward.

All going for their last drive

I'm not sure what Western Turbines are but when ever I hear that word I think of these aluminum wheels. http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pts/1446578789.html

the wheels in the pic look like the factory 80's turbine wheels minus the centers. similar, but the spokes are different.
