See how that works....I finally figure out how to work a camera and now I'll drive everyone crazy..

Here is a pic. of my project Warlock. It was originally Sunfire Green but had already been sprayed bombed once or twice when I bought it.This was a "field fresh" truck so to speak.I bought it out of someones side yard where it had sat for quite sometime, previous owner was a Ford guy..

After sitting around for at least 4yrs.on a bit of a hillside, the sunroof has done a great job of modifying all that extra weight in the floorboards.Even made my dash a little bit rusty... :x The good news was that for the most part everything was all there and original, right down to the full tank of gas it had, talk about OEM !

I added the chrome slots and sidepipes and basically had to replace everything on the engine...and around the engine...and in the engine...and....
It's a plain Jane 318/727,I'm not sure what the rearend ratio is but for a weakly 318 2bbl this truck feels like a dragster and drives like a GO-KART.
The "feel" of this truck is not even close to to any of my other trucks or even another baseline 2WD stepside that I have drove.I'm sure it's nothing special compared to others in better shape bit it sure is a blast to drive. :D

Now after I've wrote a novel here I'll post my ONE bad picture of the truck for your entertainment....

I like the window louvers... :D ...they are kinda cracked here and there but so far they haven't fell off going down the road so I'm good.

At some point I would like to have the truck repainted as original but may not happen anytime soon.I do like the truck well enough to do a complete disassemble/resto and it will have it's day,but right now it is my summer time driver.Easy projects for it this summer include making the sideboards and replacing the bed floor.

I will try to get some more pics. of both trucks this weekend....but beware....the more and better pictures I take of them the worse they are going to look.

I have a friend that used to own an exhaust shop,I think he told me the sidepipes were a take-off from a truck he had previously worked on so I do not know the brand or anything. My truck used to have a standard single exhaust with a muffler so quiet you heard more noise under the hood than from the tailpipe. So much for that !!

Really the side pipes aren't crazy loud with the built-in mufflers, just enough to have a motorcycle-like attitude and so far....no one has burnt their leg on them, they can get pretty hot after a cruise down the highway.

Other plans I originally had for this truck was to add '70 Super Bee scoops and gigantic Hoosiers on the back. After trial fitting everything up and seeing the 'look' I decided it would have been a little too much pro-street for me.
The scoops were o.k.,the pipes were o.k.,the tires fine, just not everything together ..on a truck no less.
