Here's a '77 stepside that I picked up about 12 mos. ago. I could not find any sign that it was a warlock tho, no signs of pinstripes inside or out (or if they were removed). The only thing that I saw, it has chrome steps and the split bench seat with the metal backrest bracket in the middle. Now you could get those chrome steps and seats as options too right?

Couldn't find any tag on the coresupport etc. with a original paint code because all that makes a warlock a warlock, is the pinstripes, chromestep, seats, and the 3-4 different colors, wood panels and having that coresupport tag right? The warlock is just a trim package not a perf. package right?

This one is a '77 W100 (6,001#+) 318 auto 4X4, it's a Warren Truck #1 plant truck, where were the warlocks made? Sequence # on VIN is 093362 if that at all helps.. Ideas? Thanks for the help!
-Jim

the only way you could say it is a warlock is if it had the stripes on it with the chrome steps and bucket seats....if that stuff was gone, then it would be on the equipment label or build sheet, but those are probably already gone, so no, it would be hard to tell. They were a decor package, not a performance pkg...

That's what I thought, well it has the chrome steps and it had the bucket seats, but no signs of stripes. The chrome steps and bucket seats could be an option on any stepside truck tho eh?

seats were optional on standard cab trucks with a black or parchment interior color.
the steps are suppose to be warlock specific...

All Warlocks '78-'79 have a black color dash gauge cover with gold stripes around the perimiter of the gauge cover. The '76-'77 earlier years may have had a silver dash cover instead of the black. All years inside door sheet metal that was painted with the color of truck have gold stripes above & below the plastic door panels.

the 76 and 77 also had a black gauge surround like the later 78 and 79 trucks....
the 79's also had other interior colors available than black...
