yes, the rear bumper is a factory piece....1980-82

yeah, I was under a time constraint, and needed to get back....weather wasn't exactly the best either...and yes that would have been nice, but 300 miles one way would have not been good for time...lol.

Interesting I've never seen one in person that I can recall.

And I completely understand from the time/weather/distance aspects!

I like the turbines on it! Are they original/correct for the '80 Big Horn?

they could have been spec'd out on that truck....but don't know for sure...no buildsheet or equipment label for the truck.
The truck is a fairly basic 80, except for the fact that it is a bighorn....it has the 360 4bbl engine, 4spd manual, 4wd, am/fm stereo(at least, maybe tape), 3 pt mirrors, dual tanks, quad lamps, chrome styled step bumper, pwr steering, pwr brakes, pwr door locks(this was a pleasant surprise to see), 3.21 axle ratio with sure grip(now changed to 3.55 by p.o.)
I would almost have say it was a special ordered truck....dual tanks and pwr locks on a swb 4 spd truck... otherwise it may have been a screwed up order..either way, a cool truck!

Either way they look great on the truck! :D

I'm glad that truck found its way into your collection as something that rare deserves to be had by someone who knows what it is!

That is a very interesting combination (360/NP435/3.21 sure grip) and then add in the dual tanks, mirrors, quad lamps, step bumper and the power locks to boot!

I didn't know that power steering and power brakes were still optional on 4x trucks in '80. Learned something new...

I know you'll give it the love it needs -- and I can't wait to see what you have in store!

I would possibly be interested in those old slot mags if you want to get rid of them! :)
