I don't understand the Speedo cable comment. Would it be better to get a longer speedo cable than a hard to fing gas tank? Also, don't wish for a sunroof. They are a pain in the butt to seal if leaking. The locking handles are pot metal and manytimes break when used often. There are no after market parts available for factory dodge truck sunroofs.

Sounds like you got a good plan of attack for the restoration.

I am Looking forward for the future photos and build sheet find.

The lift option was known as spring pound specifcation . Usually the 150 Series had higher rated front & rear springs. My '79 Warlock W150 had a factory rating front of 1400 pounds. Rear was rated at 1650 pounds. ..............................
I would stay with a four in lift. Your drive lines and steering arm pivot can still be used. Bump streer is non exsistent with a four inch lift. "33 inch tire are perfect with the four inch lift. Getting into the cab is good, but a Gal about 5' would have some trouble getting into the passinger seat with no grab bar.
Attached is my Warlock stance @ 21.5 to the roll of the pinch weld at the front door hinge gap line with 33"tires.

yeah i want the four inch lift but i was told that a 4 inch lift and 33s will add 6 inches therefore taking my truck from 20 inches to 26 inches then the foot placement would be at 28 inches which is perfect for me so yes i do want a 4 inch lift and 33s

That warlock sits perfect. I would guess the tires are the 12.5 wide on 8 inch rims, but do the tires in the front stick out past the fenders? Will it fit in a garage with a standard 7' x 9' door?

The red warlock is mine. Thanks.......The total height is 80". My garage is 85" to the horizontal top moulding bottom surface. The folding/rollup door has to be moved to the farthest back position for clearance so it does not hang down below the 85".
No, the front tires do not extend past the top wheel arch sheet metal...Yes, they are 12.50x33x15 on stock 8" '79 Warlock Chrome rims.

Too bad on the build sheet. So if I understand, you found a gas tank or having one made?
